Shaman diet and what plants we using
Shamanic Dieta and Amazonian TraditionsIn Amazonian traditions, dieta holds a special place as a period of solitude, inner discipline, and attentive connection with nature. This period may involve a simpler lifestyle, a more restricted diet, quietness, rest, and a greater focus on personal experience.Within traditional practice, a practitioner may work with various Amazonian plants. The choice of plant, the length of the dieta, and the form of the traditional practice are determined individually and may vary according to the particular lineage and experience of the practitioner.

Maestro Amer descends from a family of healers. Working with master plants is part of his heritage and his passion — a way to serve life through love and healing.
What Are Master Plants?
Each plant has its own spirit. Master plants are those that love humans unconditionally and wish to help us heal, knowing that by healing us, they also bring harmony to their own world.
Amer’s mission is to guide others through the healing of mind, spirit, heart, and body — using the sacred wisdom and power of these plants.
This retreat invites you to discover whether our path resonates with yours. It is a space to discuss your healing intentions, learn about our work, and experience the simple rhythm of life close to nature.
A Reminder
plant medicine are not a vacation. They are a journey of courage — meeting the darkness that blocks our light. Life in the jungle can be challenging, yet deeply rewarding. We help you adapt with care: fresh meals, clean water, mosquito nets, and a welcoming family atmosphere.
About the Center
Founded by Amer on his ancestral land, Centro Yacuruna Plantas Medicinales now welcomes guests from Peru and abroad. Once a humble family home, it has grown into a traditional healing space with private cabins and a ceremonial hall. Several generations live here, offering genuine warmth and support to all who seek transformation.
